How to
Make your matcha
Haven't made matcha before? It's super easy and we like to treat it similar to how you would make a coffee.
Have it iced, hot, latte or even try it in baking.

step one
make your tea base
Scoop 1 tsp (approx 2g) of matcha or hojicha into your cup. If you like it stronger you can double the serving.
sift first for extra creamy matcha

step two
next, water.
Pour 30-50mls of water to your cup. If you would like to add sweetener, then add your choice of sugar. We recommend 1st of maple syrup.

step three
whisk, whisk, whisk.
Use our handy electric whisk to blend and create an instant frothy matcha base.

step four
make it hot.
If you're having a hot matcha, it's time to fill it up with warm frothy milk. If you are a purist, add hot water (60C ), never boiling and enjoy.

step five
ice, ice, matcha.
If you're having it iced, fill cup 3/4 with water then top with a generous helping of milk.
